About Breman Traditional Area
Our Story
Breman Traditional Area is located within the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa District in the north-central section of the Central Region of Ghana.
The area is bordered to the north by Birim South (Eastern Region); to the east by
Agona District; to the south by Ajumako -Enyan-Essiam District and to the west by both Assin South District and Assin North Municipal. The district capital of the traditional area is Breman Asikuma. The Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa District has Four Hundred and Sixty- four (464) settlements that falls under eight (8) zones. The main language spoken is Breman. The governing body of the traditional area is the Breman Traditional Council made up of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs and the Paramount Chief (Omanhene), Odeefuo Amoakwa Boadu VIII
as the president for the Traditional Council
